Mahali Mzuri is Sir Richard Branson’s Kenyan safari camp located in the world-famous Maasai Mara ecosystem and right in the path of the annual Great Migration. Mahali Mzuri sits within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy which covers an area of 13,500 hectares! There are endless opportunities for game viewing, so all you need to do is sit back and let the wildlife come to you!

Your tent at Mahali Mzuri is your window onto some of the world’s most spectacular scenery. Each luxury tent is designed to be your home away from home throughout your stay, with an ensuite bathroom, inviting private deck and views you won’t want to miss. There are six tents on either side of the Main Tent, each accessible by a walkway, the furthest of which is approximately a five minute walk from the Main Tent.
Mahali Mzuri has two tents which are able to accommodate children in a separate enclosed sitting room. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to sleep in a tent without parental supervision. Children between the ages of 12-15 are allowed to stay in their own tent, however we strongly recommend that any child under the age of 15 shares a tent with their parent. For younger children the camp can provide a cot and roll away bed for a nanny if required.
Mahali Mzuri's chefs have developed numerous pan-African dishes influenced by a variety of cultures, flavours and spices. Whether dining under the African sky in the open bush, on a deck or in the dining tent, the menus and meals promise to be exciting, social and inspirational. Mahali Mzuri uses locally-sourced produce, flavours and spices to deliver something truly memorable. All meals and drinks including alcohol and finest champagne are included in your stay and guests are welcome to help themselves to whatever they want at any time.

The camp is perched on the side of a lush valley with views over the rolling plains. Together the Motorogi and Olare Orok Conservancies cover roughly 13,500 hectares (33,000 acres) and there are strict limits on the number of guests that can stay at any one time. The camp is well placed to observe the abundant game in the area and also to take advantage of the annual 'Great Migration', which sees up to one million wildebeest undertake a journey of roughly 1,600km.
1hr flight to the Olare Orok airstrip followed by 25-minute drive to the camp, with game viewing en route.
Should you wish to fly in via private aircraft, please let us know and we will assist with the necessary arrangements.
